As a patient in the office, one thing you might notice is the continual education about your health and chiropractic care. Both doctors make it a goal of theirs to not only help their patients feel better, but also understand and learn about their bodies and what can keep them healthy. This commitment to education doesn’t stop in the office; Doctor Becerra has been teaching in the homeschool community for several years now, first with his son, and now in a very different way in this upcoming year.

In one way or another, Doctor Becerra has been involved with Revival Christian Academy, and the program for weekly classes that it offers, for many years. His son, Jack, was homeschooled through both programs for a large portion of his education. Even after Jack’s graduation, Doctor Becerra and his wife, Michelle, remained involved in the programs, either as support or in leadership positions. Michelle has been working in the administration of RCA, and Doctor Becerra has been assisting in any way needed.

This year, Doctor Becerra has decided to take a more active role in the Revival Christian Academy program. Once a week, he’ll be teaching an Honors Anatomy course for high school students. Not only does he get to share his extensive knowledge of the human body, he also gets to share life skills with his students. His desire is to be able to show students how to be prepared for college level academics, and learn to manage taking notes and implementing strong study skills. Finally, his goal is to help students have an appreciation for their learning, and enjoy their education through hard work and responsibility. Good luck Doctor Becerra!
