Our Image part 2

A while back I wrote about how important it is to have a good image for a business.  Image is everything right?  Well, our image isn’t quite everything, and that’s not particularly our motto around here, but we are in the day and age where image is king.  I’ve said it before, that if someone could just open the window to my heart as a chiropractor, healer, business owner, etc., you’d know that I don’t care much about our image, but really, the heart of my business.  Which is what, by the way?  Well, we set out to tell a story about my heart as a chiropractor and why I’m in this business to begin with.  Do you ever wonder that?  Why you do what you do?  I’ve been to doctors before and I wonder if they are good at their craft.  If they have always wanted this life, of listening to people who 98% of the time are not well, determining what can be done, and if I’m the guy to do it.  I mean, being a doctor of anything, isn’t something you just come by.  You don’t just fall into it right?  Wouldn’t it have to be a divine appointment?  A healer?  Hmmm.  The more we thought about it the more it was realized that there’s a story here.  Behind our image, there’s a story.  It’s not a made up, fake story, but a real story, and one that I can say I’m pretty proud of.  Well to tell the story, and thereby help create our image, we hired two good friends to help us out.  Talent isn’t the word to describe these guys, but perhaps gifted.  Aaron and Donnie really poured themselves into the creating of a video that truly explains the essence of why I do what I do, and the love I have for chiropractic.  It’s sort of like a commercial for our business really.  And I think with all the chiropractors out there, how can a person choose?  It’s hard to know who to go to.  Do you choose a person because they look good?  Because they have a cool website?  Not me.  I’d like to know the heart behind a person’s motives.  If they’re genuine, then I’ll know it.
